Absolutely crazy.
That's how I feel when I can't get dressed in the morning. Maybe it IS some type of schizophrenia. Or more likely it's just because I'm late, it's dark, I have to be quiet because the husband and baby are asleep. Then I dress by my mood so if I'm tired and confused, I'll be you can imagine what kind of outfit I come up with. OY. So I put one on. Then the boots aren't right. Then I need spanx because let's not forget I'm a working Mama and the baby fat isn't gone yet. Then the jacket doesn't go with the boots and the bag is all wrong. It's a wonder I even get out of the house at all.

"Fitting" for a Monday morning

So a few weeks ago I bought these cute pewter t-strap wedges at Old Navy. Trying shoes on at Old Navy isn't easy - they clip the shoes together so they don't get lost but since they don't provide any seats it makes for a rather precarious dance trying to put them on and not fall over. So I tried on the left foot. That's the bigger foot, right? Sure, it fits. Great. Let's go. So I brought them to work today to wear and i put them on and the right foot feels snug. Really snug. I check the inside of the strap. Sure enough it's literally one whole size smaller than the left. Now WTF do I do? So I'm wearing them and my right foot hurts. Lovely. Great day. Thanks a lot.

oooh inaugural post! I decided to start this blog because I'm so inspired by other blogs I've been following for a while now. (Be sure to check my list of new friends on the right!) Of course, I have a blog I've been writing already for almost a year now - and that is www.echodesign.com/blog but I wanted this one to reflect a little bit more of me personally :) It's named Scarves On My Armoire because that's where I've draped them - over the door and every morning the colors and patterns inspire me. I can't say it's moved much past that though LOL because although I've mastered the art of scarf-on-armoire-drapery, I'm still working on how to actually put everything together in an outfit. SO, I thought I'd use this as an outlet to post my hilarious attempts at fashion and share any rare victories that may arise. Why laugh to myself on the train to work and have people think I'm psycho when I can write about it here and maybe brighten your day too?
